I used to hate this world. Really, truly hate it.

I know that might shock you, but it’s the truth. I looked around and saw pain, suffering, cruelty, injustice – and I judged it all as BAD. Capital B-A-D. I wanted out. I wanted to go Home to God and leave this whole mess behind.

But here’s what shifted things for me: I realized that my hatred of the world was just another judgment. And judgment, as A Course in Miracles teaches, is what maintains the illusion of separation.

I was literally keeping myself stuck in the very thing I hated by judging it!

When I started practicing “I don’t know what anything is for” (that’s Workbook Lesson 25, and oh my goodness, is it ever a lifesaver!), something incredible happened. The world didn’t change – my perception did.

Those dark times that seemed so horrible? They taught me about the ego. They showed me how the illusion works. They gave me compassion for others who are suffering. Was I bad and wrong for hating the world? I don’t think so anymore. It was all part of my awakening journey – the same journey I now guide others through in our Quantum Counseling Certification Program.

Now I see this whole experience as an adventure, an exploration. Yes, there’s still pain in the world. Yes, there are still things that challenge me. But I don’t hate it anymore. Why? Because I’ve stopped judging it.

When you stop judging the world as bad, you stop being its victim.

You become a blessing instead of a curse. You bring Light instead of more darkness. You become part of the solution instead of adding to the problem.

The world needs our Love, not our judgment.

It needs our blessing, not our condemnation. Every time we judge the world as bad, we’re agreeing with the ego that separation is real, that God made a mistake, that Love has failed.

But Love hasn’t failed. We just forgot to look with Love’s eyes.

Today, instead of judging what you see, try this: “I don’t know what this world is for. Maybe it’s the perfect classroom for remembering who I really am.”

Because maybe, just maybe, everything is happening FOR you, not TO you.

NEW ACIM PODCAST EPISODE: my topic is Everyone Is Teaching—What Are You Teaching?. In this episode, I share one of the most transformative teachings from the Manual for Teachers—that we’re always teaching through who we are, not just what we say. I open up about my own recent extinction burst around moving trauma and how these intense moments of old patterns surfacing are actually breakthroughs waiting to happen. I guide you through the revolutionary practice of “to have, give all to all,” showing how my years as a spiritual counselor taught me that when we hold space for someone’s perfection, both of us heal. This episode is my invitation to you to consciously choose what you’re teaching in every moment and to join me in recognizing that teaching only Love is not just beautiful—it’s our mission from God.
