Today I leave my home in the Green Mountains of Vermont to fly to Porto, Portugal and begin a Camino Adventure/Journey with a group of about 22 friends from our spiritual community at the Power of Love Ministry. While I’m gone I’m going to be sharing about the trip here and our adventures along the way.
If you haven’t seen the movie THE WAY with Martin Sheen, I highly encourage you to watch it. That’s what inspired me about 14 years ago. It wasn’t until this year I got the nudge from Spirit – “go now.” So, I’m following.
I’m so excited and happy to be with many wonderful people that I love dearly, some that I have yet to meet in person, and some I’ll just be getting to know. I’m sure we’ll have a great time. Bill Free and Lisa Natoli are good friends who loved this trip with guide, Jen Johnson, so much they did it twice. Lisa said it was her, “best trip ever!”
I’m asking everyone to consider setting some spiritual goals to bring with us on the journey – personal goals for our expanding happiness.

I’m leaving the fur babies, Bodhi and Sattva with my dear friend and co-worker, Glazy Perez. We celebrated her birthday 2 weeks late last night.
Glazy’s known them since they were little and they love her and she loves them. Still, I will be missing my kiddos and hope they won’t be missing me too much. We’re so used to spending all of our time together and I’ll be gone 17 days. That’s about a week longer than we’ve ever been apart.
My life is my spiritual practice, and I’m sure this journey will be one of deepening practice.
Every day is a healing day no matter where we go when we have a spiritual practice at the heart of our life. I love when we get to practice together and be the two or more gathered in the name and the nature of Love.

NEW PODCAST EPISODE! The most recent episode of my podcast’s topic is Heaven Requires No Sacrifice. Every day we can choose heaven or hell, for ourselves and for everyone. Many spiritual students resist the deeper healing of the mind because they believe it will require sacrifice, but this is an ego fantasy of doom and gloomy loneliness. In this episode, I share the teaching of ACIM regarding sacrifice so that we can see there’s no reality to the illusion of sacrifice. We can choose heaven now.
