Good Friday blessings to you!

There’s a line in A Course in Miracles Chapter 19 that offers us such beautiful clarity:

“The crucified give pain because they are in pain, but the redeemed give joy because they have been healed of pain. Everyone gives as he receives, but he must choose what it will be that he receives.”

We MUST choose what we’ll receive.
Despite how it sometimes looks or feels, nothing is forced upon us.

Everything’s already been given. Heaven and hell are both available to us right now. We choose what we’re going to receive.

When we choose crucifixion – when we choose to see ourselves as victims who’ve been wronged – we take everybody with us.

Because we’re all one. We attack them with guilt. They should feel guilty. They did this to us.

But what if everything is for us and nothing is against us?
No matter how we could interpret it? What if that’s the truth?

What if we can learn to see that everything works together for our good, and there are no exceptions?

Would we still feel like a victim? Would we still want to condemn others if we were willing to receive the gift of our good?

This is the story of Joseph and his brothers. After they they thought they’d left him for dead, and he returned to save their lives, his brothers said to Joseph, “How could you help us when we tried to kill you?” Joseph’s answer: “You meant it for ill will, but God meant it for good.” Because Joseph was cast out from his family, so much good happened that never would or could have happened had he stayed home.

The same is true for us.
Our blessings are right where we are.

We can expend our precious energy in holding grievances and grudges and attack thoughts. Or we can choose to be truly helpful – to turn the other cheek, meaning to offer something different than what we’ve been given.

That’s what the redeemed do.

They give Joy because they’ve been healed of pain.

They’ve chosen what they’ll receive, and they chose heaven.

Life will always present us with opportunities to hold grievances. Always. We’re here to teach only Love. Only Love, for that is what we are.

In my Masterful Living Program, we practice being the redeemed instead of the crucified – giving Joy because we’ve been healed of pain.

My FREE Forgiveness Workshops are a beautiful space to begin that healing, come join me on Monday.

Let’s celebrate life, not death. We can do this!

The crucifixion is over as soon as we’re ready to move on.

It’s Easter week, now is the time for us to rise up, redeem ourselves and give up the crucifixion.  It’s easier when we do it together.  Join me for a free forgiveness workshop on Monday, April 6.

Prayer Power Classes begin April 6 – There’s so much more available to us than struggle, and prayer can help you access it faster than you think. NEW ACIM PODCAST EPISODE:  I’m Done Suffering – For Any Reason What if the thing that happened to you didn’t mean what you think it means – and what if it didn’t have to mean anything at all? In this Easter episode, I share a simple story about mice eating my sunflower seeds over the winter – and how I practiced neutrality instead of upset. Then I turn to Chapter 29, Section 6 of A Course in Miracles – “Forgiveness and the End of Time” – and explore what the Course calls the “sacrifice” of forgiveness. I share the shift that took me from believing the world was cruel and gruesome to experiencing life as lovely and filled with blessing. And I reveal a surprising discovery: when we practice non-judgment, there’s nothing to forgive. If you’ve been exhausted by forgiveness work, this one might show you an easier way. We’re doing this together.
