It’s a major challenge when someone feels a calling to share their gifts and talents, and their loving heart, while the resistance and reluctance to make changes is stronger than their calling.  That was what it was like for me for a very long time.

I know how frustrating it feels to think that I can’t move forward because I don’t have what it takes, either internally or externally.  Feeling like I didn’t have the financial support and skills to answer my calling to be a minister and teacher and letting that slow me down or even stop me was a major bummer for me.  

Sometimes it feels like life is against us and we can’t move forward.

I knew I was giving in to lack and limitation thinking, but I was so convinced by my own beliefs I felt as though there was an invisible wall preventing me from moving forward.

I wasn’t willing to take what I thought would be risks.  I was playing it safe by playing small, but it was painful.

The Power of Love Ministry exists because I was able to find the way through the resistance and reluctance.  I learned how to hear the calling that was so strong, sweet and true in me, and feel the power of it’s Wisdom.  

That clarion call within me became stronger, dissolving the resistance, the fear, the false beliefs, and I felt stronger and more confident to follow the guidance Spirit gave me.  

The vision for this ministry was so strong that I couldn’t hold back anymore.  Spirit propelled me forward, but first I had to be willing to simply say, YES.

I said yes to putting Spirit first and then I began to feel lifted out of the muck and mire of my personal opinions and carried above the minefield of my false beliefs.

My misperceptions about what answering the call meant were the cause of my fear.  

We all have a calling within us and when we’re willing to answer it then everything we need is provided for us.  

“Seek first the kingdom, which is within, and all else will be added unto you.” That’s the truest thing I know.

One of the great blessings of my life is the way this Power of Love Ministry supports people in finding their true calling and making the shift in their consciousness that allows them to confidently answer the call – and in the process, release all attachments to the root causes of that resistance and reluctance.  Now, they can be that role model and support for others.  

We all know that unworthiness is being healed in all humanity and we’re at the forefront of that.  
You and I, we’re undoing that belief in unworthiness. Our YES to answering our call is key in this expansion.

I love to see people enter into our Masterful Living Program and then as they settle in and find their rhythm, their prayer partners and friends, they begin to hold a new vision for themselves and their lives.  They begin to set goals that would have seemed outrageous just a month ago.  

As they go along and grow along, releasing the false, discovering the true, they begin to move confidently in the direction of their calling. And then they can help others.

A field of flowers in bloom is a beautiful sight to see, but, for me, the most beautiful thing I know is someone undoing their belief in unworthiness and finding access to the inner fire that is their natural calling.  That’s people in bloom!

When we shine and share our gifts and talents, that fulfillment is a gift to the world.  It instantly signals others everywhere that they too can succeed.  They can stop holding themselves back.  They can stop waiting and start helping others.

It helps to be clear about what we’d like so we can stop resisting it and start allowing.  With all the spiritual counselors I’ve trained, I can see that the one thing they have to let go of is the idea that it’s egotistical to follow their guidance.

When we put Spirit in charge of everything, life seems to lead us in the divine direction of our answered prayer.  There’s nothing egotistical about that.

Now is the time for us to leap and travel on the wings of the Holy Spirit!
