Here’s a way to think about our journey that fills my heart with Joy.

We could say we’re on the in-breath now. There was the exhalation out to that deep sense of separation – and now we’re on the in-breath, coming back home. We’re the prodigal son coming back home.

Whoever arrives home first realizes there’s no judgment. There’s nothing bad that’s happened.

A Course in Miracles tells us: “Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.”

Hallelujah. We are real.  We cannot be threatened.  I know that sounds crazy, but when we let go of our attachments to our belief that we CAN be threatened, we’ll see what the truth is.   We can then feel that all is well. Nothing bad has happened. Crazy dreams, crazy dreams.
And we can recover.

Spirit says:  Come home. Rest. Relax. Restore. Recover. And get the word out.

The closer we get to returning home like the prodigal son, the more people there are coming out on the road to meet us. And that’s what the teachers of God are for – getting out on the road to meet the wandering prodigal son and say, “Oh, look – we’re preparing a feast for you. You’re expected and welcomed. And here, let me hold your hand. Let me give you a welcoming hug. It’s not much further.”

That’s what the teachers of God are for. Isn’t that wonderful?

So the belief in betrayal – all of it – was part of the dream. Part of the exhalation out into separation. And now we’re on the way home.

#1 – We must forgive ourselves for having even believed that we could betray, that we were betrayed.

The relief can’t happen until we do that.

We just pile it all up, all the self-betrayal – we can imagine rolling it all up into a ball, pulling things out of our heart and shaping them into a perfect golden ball and giving it to the Holy Spirit and saying, “Holy Spirit, I give this to you. I’m done with it.”

I don’t need these beliefs, these memories. I need none of this anymore.

I’m only interested in harvesting the learning from my choices and sharing the benefits with everyone.

In my Masterful Living Program, we walk this road home together. And in my FREE Forgiveness Workshops, we practice rolling up those old burdens and handing them over.

The feast is being prepared. We’re expected. We’re welcomed. Let’s keep walking home.

Now is the time of our liberation from our misperceptions.

If you’re struggling with a relationship, and it feels like co-dependency, it feels like you need to release an obsessive-compulsive attachment, I have a workshop for you. LATEST ACIM PODCAST EPISODE:  Don’t Let the Little Interferers Pull You to Littleness What would happen if you simply refused to let anything pull you into littleness? I just got back from Costa Rica where I broke my laptop on day one, came home with a sinus infection, and almost missed my flight because I forgot I was flying internationally. And yet – I had one of the most peaceful travel experiences of my life. In this episode, I share what happened at that airport and how A Course in Miracles Chapter 23 gave me the exact teaching I needed: “Let not the little interferers pull you to littleness.” With everything happening in the world right now – the wars, the chaos, the things that could so easily upset us – I explore what it really means to be unbotherable. Not through denial, but through knowing who we really are. I share the phrase I kept repeating to myself when nothing was working, and why staying innocent (even when I made a tactical error) changed everything.
