In this journey of waking up, it can seem like we have to let go of the familiar and to trust that we’ll land on the other side, even though we don’t know how we’ll get there or what it will be like. We have to prepare for the journey and embark without really knowing what is coming next, and what’s after that.
It’s about trust.
No one let’s go unless they have trust.
Without trust there is no Faith.
Without Faith you’re on your own and the nightmare of separation never ends.
If you aren’t willing to let go you cannot demonstrate your trust.
“Faith without works is dead.” James 2:26
We build our Faith and demonstrate it by actively placing trust where it belongs, in Spirit. You cannot trust the ego, you can always trust the Spirit. In this waking UP! experience we must learn when and where to trust by learning how to discern when when we’re placing our faith in the ego or the Spirit. This is not so easily done, but it is required in order to wake up.
The very act of placing our trust in Spirit WAKES US UP!
“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also”. James 2:26
I have a friend who was a world class acrobat and she learned how to be a trapeze artist. During her training she had to learn how to swing on the trapeze, let go and fly through the air so the catcher on the other side could catch her. When she was first learning the catcher said something very wise to her, he said “My job is to catch you. Your job is to let go. You don’t have to look for ME, I’ll find YOU.”
She had to learn to let go and trust that the catcher would do his job.
We have to let go and trust the Higher Holy Spirit Self will not let us fall. If it SEEMS like we are falling then we must be more willing to trust, not less.
It’s inevitable on this journey of awakening that we must let go of ALL attachments. We have to release the attachments in order to FLY. The attachments keep us tethered to the world of effects.
If you think we know what it’s supposed to look like or be like then you’re attached. Instead of focusing on what you think it’s supposed to LOOK like, focus on what you’d like it to FEEL like. Let the Spirit figure out the rest.
And remember that if you’re choosing from a selfish motivation, it won’t go well and you’ll learn from your pain. But you already know that. We all do. We’re waking up to the Unity of all life – selfish motivation is the opposite of trust and Faith.
Suffering is optional. Let go. Faith in Spirit. Trust is a demonstration of Faith. Trust God and not the ego. Learn to discern the difference. Practice daily. Prepare for Miracles!
