We are the world, and we’re also the clean up crew.
We, yes, you and I, are part of the clean up crew for Spirit.
As I was saying in yesterday’s Daily Shot of Spiritual Espresso, “There’s a tendency to think that as we grow spiritually life will stop being so challenging. I’ve come to realize that’s a fantasy. It’s not going to happen – at least not in the way that I think.”
I remember 10 or 15 years ago, there was a sense that things were improving and getting better all of the time. There was a sense of gratitude and celebration for the good that was being revealed. Yes, there were tough and challenging times, but after the storm comes a rainbow.
After the shift at the end of 2012, I began to realize that life was going to keep coming at us.
We’re going to be continuously and unrelentingly challenged to give up our attachments and our false beliefs.
There will be no time off for good behavior. We’re in the final period of this shake down and the shaking will not be over until we’re done.
We’re up to the challenge. It’s what we’re made for – regardless of how it feels.
I know for myself that I don’t really want a break. I’d like to “get ‘er done,” as Larry the Cable Guy would say. I would like to focus on releasing all sense of lack and limitation, separation and fear. Let the guilt dissolve and resolve permanently back to the root cause. I’d like to feel complete.
It doesn’t do any good to complain or wish it was over.
That only prolongs things.
We’re waking up to the way the world works and the Law of Cause & Effect.
I feel that we signed up for the clean up crew. This was our choice. We wanted to be here at this time to help unravel the beliefs and opinions that are the plague of our existence.
I like being part of the crew and knowing that my choices each day make a difference, and they make a difference.
I like feeling that my loving choices bring benefit to everyone. I mean, isn’t that a wonderful thing? Heck, yeah!
Let’s dance like nobody’s watching, but every body benefits.
Let’s celebrate every day that we GET TO be part of the clean up crew.
After all, we were part of the mess making, we can be part of the clean up. We’re showing up and we’re being the Love that we’d like to see in the world.
