For years I’ve noticed that many people have a challenge grasping a common spiritual teaching about our 3D world being an illusion. The more I travel this path of waking up the more I see “the edges” of the illusion and that makes me grateful.
To help us get more clarity I’ve invited my longtime teacher, mentor and friend, Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo to join me in sharing on this topic on my radio show today. Join us live or get the download later.
The Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo is Chief of the Wild Potato Clan of the Green Mountain Ani Yun Wiwa and the twenty-seventh generation holder of the ancestral Ywahoo lineage in the Tsalagi/Cherokee tradition. She is also a well respected teacher of Vajrayana in the Drikung Kagyu and Nyingma traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
Venerable founded the Vajra Dakini Nunnery in Bristol, Vermont under the auspices of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The first of its kind in North America, the Vajra Dakini Nunnery is a contemplative residential community of nuns and a place of training and practice for aspiring monastics and lay practitioners, men and women, old and young.
Venerable Dhyani is founder and spiritual director of Sunray Meditation Society and the Sunray Peace Village in Lincoln, Vermont. An international spiritual organization dedicated to world peace and reconciliation, Sunray is a sanctuary based upon the Cherokee Peace Villages. The Sunray Peace Village Land Trust acts as a conservation trust for prayer and ceremony in perpetuity. For the last three decades, Venerable has also been involved in training peacemakers and mediators and in designing effective methods of reconciliation. In 1990, Sunray was granted NGO status at the United Nations.
Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo is the author of many books including Voices of our Ancestors and the recently published 108 Quotations: A Treasury of Mystical Wisdoms and Learning Cherokee Ways: The Ywahoo Path.
I’m excited for our conversation on my radio show today. I’m sure we’ll all discover an expanded understanding of our infinite nature! What a blessing!
