Now is the time for us to decide what kind of year we’d like to have.
Yes, we can decide. Our mind is the mind of God. And, as it says in A Course in Miracles, “thought combined with belief can literally move mountains.”
Let’s move a mountain of false beliefs this year!
I’ve learned the power of decision. And it’s so powerful when we begin a new year with a clear decision of what our year is going to be about. I was sharing yesterday that I remember one year I decided to stop working for money and to begin working only for Love. It was a real turning point for me. My life changed in a major way then.
Let this be the year that we’re ALL IN for Love!
Making the decision to be ALL IN may feel daunting, impossible and too challenging, but we can shift that perspective so that we can actually choose to go for it. Especially, when we do it together.
For me, being ALL IN means that I’m truly doing the best I can in each moment to choose Love. Sometimes I fall short, but then I have the opportunity to start all over again, and I begin by choosing not to judge myself for having been less than loving only a moment ago.
Being ALL IN doesn’t mean getting it “perfect” in each moment, it means holding the intention to be loving and choosing Love as much as possible. I used to think that it would be so hard, but it’s actually far easier than having a lot of worry, doubt and fear.
It took me quite a while to recognize that every time I chose to judge and to attack, no matter how subtle it might seem, I’d feel that attack thought boomerang back to me in the form of my own self-doubt and fear.
The less judgment I have the more peaceful I am.
The more I choose to give up my attachments to my judgments, my beliefs, and the need to be right, the less fear and worry I experience and the more Joy I feel.
Now, I’m trying to remember why I was so dang interested in being right – it sure didn’t make me happy. Being loving is what makes me happy.
