We’re in a full moon period and some weird stuff is happening in my neighborhood!
Wednesday night right around dark, my precious kitty, Sattva was spotted at my neighbor’s house. Not long after that I saw that his tracker on his collar pinged in her yard. Then, I didn’t hear or see anything from Sattva all night long.
It’s happened before. I thought perhaps his collar came off and was just sitting there in her yard. It didn’t move all night. Believe me, I was checking it throughout the night. It was an amazing full moon. So bright! And it was a crystal clear night – not a cloud in the sky.
And it was cold – below freezing.

Full Moon setting over the frosty field.
Sattva didn’t come home. I got up a number of times in the night to call for him and check the tracker. Nothing.
In the morning, around 7am, Sattva came home, missing his collar with the tracker so I knew that it had fallen off as suspected. It’s happened a number of times. I’m still looking for 3 of them around the hood.
He was unscathed, seemed happy, he ate a big meal and then snuggled in to a favorite spot and slept for hours.
A couple of hours later I got a voicemail from a new neighbor, Amy, who said she was very sorry to say that she had Sattva’s collar. She feared he might have been killed – and here’s what happened that was SO STRANGE:
Around 11:30pm Wednesday, Amy said a very large black cat, with white paws showed up on her deck with something in his mouth. It was like he brought it as a gift for her – the way cats do.
Amy has two house cats, so she didn’t open the door to this new cat. She went to get her phone to take photo and when she came back, he was gone, but left the gift.
In the morning she saw what it was, it was a cat collar with a tag. She knew by the name and the info on the tag that it was my cat’s collar and she was very sad because she thought that it meant Sattva was dead – which, of course, he was not.
AND at around that same time, my next door neighbor’s cat went wild in their house and wanted desperately to get out. He’s an indoor cat, and doesn’t go out at night. In the morning when he was free from his crate that he sleeps in at night he went to a window in the direction of where Sattva had been when he lost the collar.
And why didn’t the tracker on the collar ping when it was at Amy’s on her deck all night?
What the heck?
Why would this unknown black cat offer Amy the collar when they’ve never met? Yet, although Amy is a new neighbor, I’ve met her twice and told her about Sattva. What does it all mean?
Very odd.
Some things are just a mystery, but it does show the connections we have in our minds. Life doesn’t always makes sense. For me, I am glad that it all ended well, and while I was concerned for Sattva and was up in the night trying to get him in – I felt fine all day Thursday and life is good.
I don’t worry that bad things are happening because I know good things are always happening.
I am worthy of good things. I am worthy of Peace of mind.

Wow!! That ‘s a powerful synchronicity! I’m reading about a lion culture, called Paschat’s, who impacted the ancient Egyptians. Our Sattva’s and Sheba’s are part of that culture. When they go into “cat world” (staring at nothing), they are connecting with their source. For some reason, I feel connected to the Paschat’s. Never thought about it before but I have a huge stuffed lion on my sofa, three paintings of big cats, and tons of big cat pictures that I printed off the internet. And one of the participants at one of your conferences called me “fire cat”. Interestingly, I jut read that the elements of Paschat’s are fire and earth. I am a Sajj(fire) and Capricorn Rising (earth). Paschat’s have the capacity to be inter dimensional. Live on a planet near Sirius. Have offered to be Guides to the earth (among other cultures). They are loving and benign. Thank Goodness. I never heard of them before, although I always wondered why the Egyptians had cat people among their statues and carvings. Blessings to Sattva. Your story invited me to share with you this this adventure. I loved it when you share your adventures with Sattva. Also, I had a cat, Bunnie, who absolutely refused to wear a collar. She would put her paw through it until she worked it off. We gave up. All the Best to you, Jennifer. (I’ve had Covid for the past to days. I’m getting over it. My first experience with it.)
