Here’s one of the main advantages of living a loving life, and living without being in constant attack and defend mode: the amount of regret you have is consistently decreasing.

When we’re not judging, complaining and attacking there’s far less regret. Life without regrets is extremely peaceful. There’s a noticeable lack of shame and guilt. And that feels SO good.

Additionally when we’re not judging, complaining and attacking things go much smoother. We move into the flow of Love which makes life feel easier and more in alignment with the flow of Love. This not only makes life far more enjoyable – it saves tremendous amounts of time.

It’s not hard to understand that if we’re judging, complaining and attacking, we’re in turmoil. The mind is in conflict. When there’s conflict, there’s fear. Where there’s fear there’s always going to be a belief in lack.

When we’ve got the “lack attack” in our life we frequently are tricked into thinking that we need to look outside ourselves for the answer. And now we’re moving into lots of distractions, delays and detours.

When our mind is focused on judging, complaining and attacking – grievances and betrayals, then we’re not focused on being loving, and we’re definitely interested in our perception of things, our stories.

A Course in Miracles workbook begins with helping us to understand that we’ve given everything we see all the meaning that it has for us. Our interpretation is actually meaningless, and yet sometimes we’ll fight SO hard to prove we’re right about our perceptions. Isn’t that insanity?

What we can do is recognize that when we’re upset, sad, hurt, afraid, anxious, angry or any other emotion we’re not enjoying – it’s time to question whether or not we’re seeing correctly. If we’re not at Peace we’re seeing life through lens of our opinions and the cause of our upset is actually, in part, the very fact that we actively upset ourselves by thinking thoughts that aren’t true.

This is a habit that can be broken. I’ve dedicated my life to it and I’ve never regretted it. This is the very best thing I could do with my life – liberate from unhappiness and help others to do the same.

It’s not hard to do, but it does require willingness.

And it helps to have Mighty Companions to walk the talk with.

DEEP DIVE WORKSHOP:   Cultivating Self-Love for Relationship Healing One of the hardest things we deal with is the pain of a failing relationship. ALL of that can be turned around and undone – if we’re willing. That’s why I’m offering this workshop just in time for Valentine’s Day – make it a gift to yourself!
