People are experiencing so much agitation right now. World events are super-challenging.
I really did hope that as we choose to live in the light rather than darkness, things would feel easier. But here’s what I’ve learned:
When the lights are fully on and they’re bright, you see all the dust bunnies.
You see the spills and all the things that are not clean and clear and neat and tidy.
And that’s a good thing.
Here’s what helped me see it correctly: This intensity we’re feeling isn’t a sign we’re doing something wrong. It’s a sign we’re doing something right. We’re being confronted with old views, a painful past, and we need to be able to choose Love in order to rise about it. We have to choose Peace.
Now we can actually see so much of what needs healing, we can roll up our spiritual sleeves and do that inner work. There’s more clarity. The main thing is not to judge ourselves, and everyone else, in the process.
A Course in Miracles teaches us that only in darkness can illusions thrive. When we turn on the light of awareness, when we choose to live consciously, we naturally see all the places where we’ve been hiding:
- Our grievances
- Our prejudices
- Our blocks to Love
It’s like spring cleaning for the soul.
You might have thought your house was pretty clean until that bright spring sunlight streams through the windows. Suddenly you see dust in places you never noticed before.
Does that mean your house got dirtier?
No—it means you can finally see clearly enough to clean it properly.
This is the time for us to turn within, and decide what’s got to go.
The old patterns, the old grievances, the old ways of being—they’re all becoming visible so we can release them.
Many of us have blocks to Love we’ve never noticed before:
- Assumptions we make
- Projections we cast
- Meanings we’ve attached to things
They’ve been operating in the shadows. Now they’re coming to light.
The beautiful part? We don’t need to analyze these dust bunnies. We don’t need to understand where each speck came from.
We just need willingness—willingness to let Love do the cleaning.
