As I’m preparing for my workshop on Trust & Faith on Saturday, I’ve been reviewing my own experience of building trust in order to have a real and dependable faith.
My faith means so much to me. As strong as my faith is, it gets stronger with every day. My faith is my relief from worry and doubt. My faith gets me through times that would otherwise be really challenging.
I am so grateful for my ever-strengthening faith!
I used to quake with fear, but no more. It’s faith and trust in Divinity that changed my mind.
In Masterful Living yesterday we were discussing how the things that challenged us intensely gave us the opportunity to choose trust and faith in Spirit rather than perception and that helped us to strengthen our mind.
When things seem to be taking a turn for the worse, or simply not going as I thought they’d go, and the ego mind seems to lead me to evaluating the situation as less than ideal, that’s when my faith kicks in and reminds me:
Everything works together for my good.
All things are lessons God would have me learn.
I don’t know what anything is for, but I’d like to.
My life has been gently planned by one whose only interest is my good.
And then I can relax. I can actually get excited about how things will turn out even when they look so bleak in the moment. I become anticipatory about the way the miracle will demonstrate in form. Woo hoo!
It’s easy to get tense and nervous when things don’t go the way we think they should go. When we see no way out of our situation, and it seems like a crisis – big or small – the ego mind wants to jump right to a strategy for analyzing the situation.
Ego puts on it’s Sherlock Holmes hat to try and deduce the best course of action based on the facts, and yet all of that is a distraction, and doesn’t lead to the highest and best course of action, it just leads to action.
If we’re willing to have faith, to be still and know I AM God, then the highest and best course of action will reveal itself to us.
It will find us. It will come right up in our face and present itself, if we have faith.
There’s really no substitute for faith. Faith is where it’s at! Let’s be where faith is!
Faith is knowing that:
Everything works together for my good.
All things are lessons God would have me learn.
I don’t know what anything is for, but I’d like to.
My life has been gently planned by one whose only interest is my good.
Cultivating faith requires learning to trust and the value of trust.
We can cultivate trust all day long and increase our experience of good all day long. There are countless opportunities to step out of judgment, and into faith by means of placing our trust in the invisible field of Perfect Love. Look for them and you’ll surely find them for those that hunger and thirst for righteousness will surely be led and fed!

LATEST ACIM PODCAST EPISODE: my topic is Stop Upsetting Yourself. With so much going on in the world, many people are upset a lot of the time. A constant state of agitation is a form of self-sabotage that can easily be transformed and eliminated. In this episode, I offer a pathway to move out of being upset, angry, frustrated and move into Peace. We’re never upset for the reason we think is more than just a saying. It’s true.
Forgiveness is the way. If you’d like to have some forgiveness support you can register for my next FREE Forgiveness Workshop on Saturday, March 15.
