We live in an age of auto-correction. When we type on our phones or computers, the technology catches our mistakes and fixes them instantly.

What if we could activate this same kind of auto-correction for our hearts and minds?

In A Course in Miracles, we learn about something revolutionary: we can give all our wrong decisions – every judgment, every attack thought, every moment of choosing fear over Love – to the Holy Spirit for correction. We don’t have to figure out how to fix ourselves. We don’t have to understand the complex web of our mistakes. We simply have to be willing to say, “Holy Spirit, I made an error here. Please correct this for me.”

Think about it – when we make a typo, we don’t have to understand the mechanics of the correction software or manually adjust every letter. We just hit a button and let the technology do the work. The same is true spiritually. When we recognize we’re not at peace, when we catch ourselves judging or attacking, we can immediately activate our spiritual auto-correction: “I’m giving this to the Holy Spirit for correction.”

The old way was laborious – like the days of correction fluid and typewriter ribbons. We had to go through endless penance, analysis, and self-improvement projects to try to fix our mistakes. But now we have a better way.

We can let the Holy Spirit be our auto-corrector.

This doesn’t make us lazy – it makes us smart. Why labor in vain trying to correct our own errors when the ultimate correction system is available to us? The Holy Spirit will undo all the consequences of our wrong decisions if we let Him. Every moment of guilt, every flash of resentment, every fear-based choice can be handed over instantly.

The beautiful thing is that the consequences start disappearing immediately. We begin to feel lighter, more peaceful, more loving – not because we’ve perfected ourselves, but because we’ve allowed perfection to work through us.

When we’re frustrated, we can give it over. When we’re judging our loved ones, we can hand it to the Holy Spirit. When we catch ourselves believing we’re not good enough, we can activate auto-correction: “Holy Spirit, please correct this thought.”

Just like our devices keep getting better at predicting and correcting our mistakes, our spiritual auto-correction becomes more natural with practice. Soon, we’re catching our errors faster and releasing them more readily. Life becomes about correction made easy – not through our efforts, but through our willingness to let Love do the heavy lifting of figuring out HOW it all happens in the invisible.

If you’re ready to activate your own spiritual auto-correction and experience the relief of letting the Holy Spirit handle the healing, join with like-minded souls for my FREE Forgiveness Workshop this Saturday, September 27. This isn’t just another lecture about forgiveness – it’s a guided, hands-on experience where you’ll learn the forgiveness process that has helped thousands release what they thought they’d never be able to let go. LATEST ACIM PODCAST EPISODE: my topic is Why You Can’t Let Go (And How to Finally Break Free).  In this episode, I share why so many of us spiritual students are getting caught up in anger and resentment about world events, and how it’s dragging us into depression and despair. I dive deep into ACIM Lesson 122, “Forgiveness offers everything I want,” revealing how every single unpleasant thing in our lives stems from holding grievances. Through my recent breakthrough with family resentments, I discovered that holding grudges is really about punishing ourselves – and I’m simply not interested in that anymore.
