It’s hard to imagine that we have the ability to heal all of our own pain and suffering. In fact, we have to ask ourselves why we wouldn’t wish to heal all the pain, but many people don’t actually wish to heal their own pain. That might seem crazy to you, but it’s a very common experience.
Now, I must say that I know many people who very much wish to heal their experience of pain, and they’re not having success and that’s deeply frustrating for them. That’s not quite what I’m discussing here.
There have been many times in my life – too many to count – when I made a choice to feel pain, to be in pain, to be miserable and unhappy for misguided reasons. The ego talks us into righteous suffering. Suffering for a cause. As though suffering ever improved anything!
Ego talks us into being a martyr, as though there’s some benefit to being unhappy and losing out. Insanity!
Ego talks us into thinking we can punish others by being miserable. It’s as though we can make others suffer by drinking poison. It just doesn’t work. More insanity!
By being willing to be loving and compassionate, to drop all judgments, to have holy relationships, we can actually heal all the pain there is in the world. That might seem impossible, but it’s actually the only way it will happen.
We have the power because we are of God and God is the only power.
All we have to do is choose it. We must be truly willing.
Each one who makes the choice makes it easier for the next one.

Thanks Jennifer ???
I join During . I’m willing to heal my pain back to its rootcause.. Self medicating with alcohol does not heal it. Just creates more pain and extra shame. I place it in the altar. I am so Thankful for Jennifer’s prayers and daily inspiration. This Ministry is very supportive. Like none before. I love being a part of it.
