Today on my podcast, I’m going to share about one of the core principles of A Course in Miracles: the nature of perception and how that’s related to psychological projection as taught in ACIM.

This is SO helpful to really understand.

Being able to be very astute at recognizing projections and identifying mistaken perceptions leads to a much greater experience of Peace of mind.

There’s a lot we can do to make life easier for ourselves, and this is one of them.

ACIM Workbook Llesson #5 is “I’m never upset for the reason I think.”

How could it be that I’m NEVER upset for the reason I think?

The answer is: we’re upset by our projections and our perceptions, which are also projections.

We’re upset when we interpret what’s happening through the lens of our belief system.

We’re upset because we’re choosing to see what’s not really there – all the while insisting that it IS there.

That’s crazy.
It’s crazy-making.

Hence the upset.

We don’t like being upset, yet we blame others for it. We blame circumstances. The only way to undo the upset is to take responsibility for seeing things incorrectly and then be willing to change our view, go the other way, make a U-turn.

We can live a life very little upset if we’re willing. It’s simple. Willingness is required.

Living a life of Peace is completely worth giving up our opinions.

I’ll share more today in my podcast. Please join me live or listen later.
