I used to think there was some mystical mantra, some hidden teaching that would finally unlock my spiritual awakening.

I was wrong. The answer was simpler and sweeter than I ever imagined.

Awareness Is Healing

Here’s what nobody told me: Awareness itself is curative. Not analysis. Not figuring things out. Just pure, simple awareness.

When I stopped trying to fix myself and started simply noticing my thoughts and feelings  – without judgment – everything began to shift. The self-sabotage patterns, the obsessive thinking, the constant agitation… they started dissolving like morning mist.

The Practice That Changes Everything

Think of it this way: Someone slipped a mickey in your drink, and now you don’t feel well. You don’t need to analyze the poison. You don’t need to understand its chemical composition. You just need to give it to the Holy Spirit for cleansing.

For me, this looked like:

• Noticing when I felt pulled to littleness
• Recognizing the energetic shift from peace to agitation
• Simply saying, “I’m willing to see this differently”

No drama. No lengthy process. Just awareness and willingness.

From Agitation to Peace

I used to feel agitated almost all the time. Now? I’ve never felt more peaceful.

Not because I conquered anything.
Not because I finally became “good enough.”
But because I discovered that what I thought was a war was actually an invitation –
an invitation to remember who I truly am.

Our Innocence Awaits

Here’s what I know for sure: Our awareness of our innocence—and our brothers’ and sisters’ innocence—dissolves guilt instantly.

Guilt shows up as irritation, frustration, anxiety, resentment. But when we’re willing to see innocence instead, it all falls away.
