One of the most liberating things I ever learned was this:
I don’t have to know how to do anything.
I just have to be willing to trust that the healing will be done.
It may not be done the way I think it should be done,
because there may be a better, higher way,
IF I’m willing to trust.
For so long, I thought faith meant believing things would work out the way I wanted them to.
I’d pray for specific outcomes and then measure God’s effectiveness by whether I got what I asked for.
But real faith development comes from proving God works. And the way we prove God works is by consistently placing our trust in Love and then watching what happens.
When I was taking care of my mother during her final illness, I had to make a choice. I could trust my own judgment about treatments and outcomes, or I could trust Love to guide the whole process.
I chose to trust Love.
And what I discovered was that when I got out of the way – when I stopped trying to control every detail – a deeper wisdom began to move through the situation.
The right conversations happened.
The right support showed up.
The right decisions became clear.
The Love flowed.
Did everything happen the way my ego wanted? No. But did everything unfold with a grace and love that was far beyond what I could have orchestrated? Absolutely.
Healing happened on a spiritual level, but not a physical level and I learned to respect that.
That’s how we prove God works.
We take an area of our life where we feel challenged, and instead of trying to manage every detail ourselves, we place it in Love’s hands. We ask, “What would Love have me do here?” and then we listen for the guidance.
The more we do this, the more our faith grows. Not because we’re convincing ourselves of something, but because we’re getting direct experience of how beautifully Life works when we trust it.
The Course tells us that “all problems have been solved” because “there is no separation.” When we remember that we’re not separate from the Love that created us, we can access the solutions that already exist.
This doesn’t mean we become passive. It means we become responsive to divine guidance instead of reactive to our fears.
Start small. Pick one situation that’s been stressing you out. Instead of trying to figure out every detail, ask Love to show you the next right step. Then take that step and watch what unfolds.
Each time you do this, your faith grows stronger. Not because you’re believing harder, but because you’re experiencing firsthand how Love works through willing hearts.

NEW ACIM PODCAST EPISODE:my topic is Rising Above the Battlefield When Everything Falls Apart. In this episode, I shared insights from a powerful dream where I was teaching in a cave and promised to help anyone who feels like they’re falling back in their spiritual consciousness. Drawing from A Course in Miracles Chapter 26, I addressed how we’re living in intense times where people are relapsing into addiction, fear, and separation, but emphasized that this is actually pushing humanity toward a crucial choice point between going deeper into separation or rising above the battlefield. I explained that our plans for safety and happiness cannot be made in the future but must be claimed now, and reminded listeners that we are the dreamers of our dreams, not victims – calling on spiritual students to take responsibility for changing their minds as the key to healing our world.
