I’m so grateful I was willing to give up the idea that it could never happen for me. And by “it” I mean feeling happy, harmonious, peaceful AND free of guilt, shame, self-doubt, fear, worry and that sense that something’s seriously wrong with me.
I truly believed there was something – something so completely wrong with me – that it couldn’t ever work for me. Sound familiar?
The Lie We Believe
So many of us believe we don’t have what it takes. That we’re not one of those people who could ever really transform our lives.
But truth is true for everyone.
Everything else is just a belief.
It’s just an opinion.
And it only has power because we give it power.
A Course in Miracles tells us: “You are as God created you.”
Nothing has changed that. Nothing can.

Here’s What Made a Difference for Me
I had no idea how I could ever, ever have the transformation I’ve had and continue to have. But I was willing to let Spirit show me the way. And that is the thing that makes the difference. I know I say that all the time, but many people think they’re willing, but they’re actually not.
Think about it: If you get offended by something do you react? Do you say or do something that you later regret? Do you ever recognize that you could drop it, but you don’t? That’s when there’s no willingness. The idea that you’re actually willing is a fantasy – and I know all about this because I lived in that space for a VERY long time.
The healing of our mind requires us to decide that we’re going to live our life in a different way.
We don’t have to know how. Spirit knows precisely how to heal whatever we might not know how to heal.
So we’re going to stop thinking about the HOW.
And we ALLOW. We’re allowing Spirit to take over.
